Throwing masterclass, with Rob Sollis 17th-24th September 2017

"An Examination into Form"

William Morris famously said of ceramic form " It's aesthetic is its function"

Or as a collector once said to me, concerning her latest purchase "The thrill is simply being the beholder of beauty"

This throwing master class by Rob Sollis endeavors to rid ceramic form of unnecessary clutter and fuss. Exposing clarity in shape, proportion and balance.

This week is designed to appeal to existing makers who really want to improve their throwing skills with five mornings of intensive throwing tuition. In the afternoons you are free to continue working untutored.

Courses are fully catered with continental breakfasts, light lunches and a more substantial dinner.
